After last week's show, I had to ask myself "What is Celtic Christmas music anyway?" It's a fairly generic, marketing term, just like "Celtic music". But for me it conjures up certain images and sounds that *I* want to hear. Love to hear your thoughts on it as well.

I recorded a live Pub Songs Podcast panel at DragonCon. But this was not your typical live show. This time, I got together with the Bedlam Bards and we sang songs for Firefly. Our goal is to release a live Firefly Drinking Songs CD using some of this live recording. Today's show is the uncut version of us singing our hearts out.

I also got a cool email about little girl who heard "Molly Malone" from the cat's perspective. It leads me into a few questions about that very topic. Plus, I want your feedback on the iMixes, and lots more!

I had a wee eye-opening this week as I realized I downplayed some of my success with Kilted For H er Pleasure in the last show. I aim bigger than most Celtic bands online. So I expect more. But in all fairness, the release of Kilted was a huge success, topping a variety of charts. AND the album is also climbing in popularity on iTunes... Already! Totally cool.

The second half of the show delves into a Celtic music idea I have for my Celtic MP3s Music Magazine. Can it be accomplished? Will it? And do you want to see it happen?

Post your comments in the shownotes below.

Music marketing is one of my specialties. But usually I don't talk about it much except in jest with my podcasts. Today, I go into a little more depth talking about promoting music or businesses using keywords. While this may seem to appeal only to businesses, I do my best to keep it relevant to the Celtic music fan who wants to see their favorite artist achieve success.
